It’s that time of year again when we celebrate all things fantastical! As you may well know, Wyrd and Wonder is an annual celebration of all things Fantasy, brought to us by Ariana of The Book Nook, Annemieke of A Dance With Books, Jorie Loves A Story, Lisa of Dear Geek Place and imyril of There’s Always Room For One More.
Here’s a description of this years theme in the words of our beloved blogging overlords:
“This year we’re focusing on all things magical, whether that’s magic users, magical creatures, magic systems, or things that raise the hairs on the back of your neck (in a good way). As always, you’re free to read and post outside the theme – we love low fantasy too! – but magic will be the theme for our banners and prompts this year.”
So, below are the books I’m aiming to pick from for my W&W TBR. I’ve gone for a split between backlist and e-Arcs, I’m currently finishing a re-read of Priory of the Orange Tree so that I’ll have the world fresh in my head before I dive into A Day of Fallen Night, but where I go from there I do not know. So many books, so little time!

To help guide us through the month, our hosts have created a month long challenge to help keep us on the path. I’ll be keeping to it as much as possible, with some… creative… interpretations of the prompts at times. I’ll also be cross-posting on Twitter @tooshorttoread & on my new Instagram account @tooshorttoread_nsc!

Welcome back! I am slightly in awe of your TBR and the way you’ve set it up by colour… you’ve also got a few of my favourites in there! I hope you have a fantastical reading month!!
